Complaints are acknowledged within 24 hours and resolved within 15 days of receipt. Court or government removal orders are acted on within the timelines the Rules prescribe.

Reporting illegal content (EU Digital Services Act, Art. 16)

Anyone may notify us of content on this service they consider illegal by emailing info@sowebmail.com with the subject line “Illegal content report”. Include: (a) why you consider the content illegal, (b) the exact address or message concerned and the approximate time, (c) your name and email (not required for offences involving child sexual abuse material), and (d) a statement that your report is made in good faith. We process notices diligently and non-arbitrarily and will inform you of our decision.

Note that messages are deleted automatically within roughly an hour of arrival, so in most cases the content will already be gone; what we can additionally do is retire a receiving domain or block an address from being issued again. See also the acceptable use policy.

Liability for the contents of messages

This service is a technical intermediary: it receives email addressed to temporary addresses and displays it to whoever holds the address. Message content originates from third-party senders, is not reviewed before display, is sanitized automatically at storage time, and is deleted automatically. Nothing here can send, forward or relay mail.
