About Ten Minute Inbox
A temporary email inbox built by the team behind the Webmail email apps — because we got tired of every "free" temp-mail site being slow, ad-choked and vague about what it stores.
Who we are
Ten Minute Inbox is built and operated by the WebMail Team, the makers of the Webmail email apps for Android and iOS, from Bangalore and Pune, India. Email infrastructure is what we do all day; this site is the small, sharp end of it.
Why it exists
Half of the web demands an email address before it shows you anything. Handing over your real address costs you a mailbox full of marketing you never asked for. A temporary address that receives the confirmation link and then ceases to exist solves that cleanly — but only if the inbox actually works, loads fast, and does not quietly keep your mail around. Those were the three things we could not find in one place, so we built them.
Design decisions we will not walk back
Receive-only. Nothing here can send, reply, forward or relay mail. Anonymous outbound mail is how temp-mail services turn into spam cannons; refusing to build it keeps the receiving domains (like korvel.click) healthy and your confirmation mail arriving.
No accounts, no cookies of our own, no tracking of our own. The address lives in your browser. We could not hand over a profile of you if we were asked to, because none exists.
Automatic deletion. Messages and addresses are deleted about an hour after creation (ten minutes in 10-minute mode), enforced by a database time-to-live, not a cleanup script that might not run. Details in the privacy & retention policy.
Unguessable addresses. Local parts are ten random characters from your own device's random number generator. Nobody can enumerate their way into your inbox.
How it is funded
Two ways, both visible on the page: a small number of Google ads, and links to our paid products — the Webmail apps and permanent email aliases. No data is sold, because no data worth selling is collected.
